Christmas one of the busiest days for Waffle House
Ah, Xmas Day. Awaken and open presents. Spend more time with family. Mind for your favorite Waffle House? Christmas is among the busiest days of the season for that breakfast chain-and not simply because it’s the only restaurant open. “We have customers who emerge on that day simply to see their most favorite servers,” states Pat Warner, WaHo’s v . p . of culture. “Families turning up within their pajamas after you have up and opening their gifts.” The camaraderie reaches WaHo executives, all whom work alongside cashiers and cooks on Christmas. Years back Warner viewed like a regular customer acted like a greeter, supplying a rose to each lady who joined. This past year he saw a Griffin pastor and the daughter perform the same (without the roses). “It dates back towards the passion our customers and our associates have for your little shoe box of the restaurant,” Warner states.
